  • Announcing the Feast Exhibition Tournament at Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas!

    Wolves of Eorzea, you have been honing your skills in the pit and battling for the top of the rankings, but now the time has come to show off your PvP skills in a stage setting complete with an audience!

    It is with much excitement that we announce a fun Feast exhibition tournament for Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas!

     

    Those eager to participate are asked to assemble a team of four players (tank, healer, melee DPS and ranged DPS), come up with a fun team name, write down your highest Feast ranking on the entry card, and submit the card at the Idyllshire redemption area on Friday, October 14. The entry period will remain open until Friday at 4:00 p.m., and once closed, the winning eight teams will be selected and announced shortly thereafter.

     

    Once teams are selected, the members of each team will be able to use special PC stations to set up their actions, hot bars, and settings on Friday evening to be saved for the tournament on Saturday. Start thinking about what you'll need to succeed now! (*Please note: Team selection will not be done on a first-come, first-served basis.)

  • Details on Picking up Fan Festival Attendee Badges

    In preparation for the show, we'd like to share some information on how the badge pickup process will work at the Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas!


     

    Registration Lines

    We've worked closely with the venue to ensure we can facilitate a large number of attendees lining up at one time, but there may be instances where we exceed the number of attendees that can line up in the area. While rare, if it happens, our staff may direct attendees to return at a later time. We'll be doing registration all day on Thursday (and will resume early Friday) so there is plenty of time to get checked-in before the show starts.

     

    What You'll Need

    ・Your ticket QR code (either printed or on a mobile device)

    ・An ID card to verify your identity

     

    All tickets are handled via this system and must be picked up using the following methods at the event.

     

    Single Ticket Pick-up

    If you're picking up a single ticket on an order that has no other tickets, you simply need to show your ID and QR code to the Registration Desk staff and you'll receive your attendee badge, goody bag and in-game item code sheet!

     

    Multiple Tickets on an Order

    If your ticket is part of an order that contains multiple tickets, each with different attendee names, then all of those tickets exist under a single QR code. Should the original purchaser choose to share the confirmation QR code with the other ticket holders then anyone on that order can opt to collect all of the tickets on that order.

     

    For example, you may decide to designate someone to collect all the tickets on that order and pass them out amongst the group. Or you can choose to just pick up your own ticket on the multi-ticket order. Once a ticket has been checked-in, it can no longer be checked-in later, so be sure to discuss the plan with your group ahead of time!

     

    You must have a QR code to check in, as you cannot simply show ID to receive a badge. Names are checked against orders and the QR code is required to pick them up.

     

    Changes to Ticket Details

    It will no longer be possible to make any changes to ticket details (names for example) after Friday, September 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. (PT).

     

     

    Please note:

    ・Character names or real names will not be printed on the badge itself.

    ・In-game item code sheets will be handed over along with the attendee badge and goody bag. They cannot be replaced if lost, so be sure to keep them in a safe place!

  • The Primals and Susan Calloway Summoned to Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas!

    It's with extreme excitement that we announce the Primals will once again be summoned to Fan Festival in Las Vegas to perform their rocking renditions of FFXIV songs! The Primals will take the stage for our grand finale on Saturday, October 15th, but we have another musical performance planned for this year's Fan Festival! On the evening of Friday, October 14th, we will also have a captivating piano concert which will feature the popular vocalist Susan Calloway!

     

    Even if you are not able to make it to the venue to watch live, rest assured that you'll be able to enjoy the concert in full by purchasing the live stream. Keep your eyes peeled for information on how to purchase the live stream in the very near future!

    Last Fan Festival boasted some of the most talented artworks and costume designs the team has ever seen, and we're happy to announce that both the Art Contest and the Costume Contest will be making a return for Fan Festival 2016! With a brand-new line up of fun and exciting prizes, both contests start from today, and the official rules have been posted in the Contests section of the Activities page for all to see. Make sure to read them over carefully before submitting as we don't want to miss your entry! We're eagerly awaiting the magnificent creativity for this year's Fan Festival, and we're certain it will be a whole level above 2014!

  • Announcing the Fan Festival 2016-2017 In-game Bonus Items!

    This is your story! While some of the greatest things you can take back from Fan Festival are the experiences you'll have, a few in-game items to show off to your friends will make people stop and listen to your story!

    Those who attend a Fan Festival 2016-2017 event, or purchase one of the streaming options, will receive the following item depending on the event:


    Las Vegas (October 2016)
    Minion: Rikku

    In addition to receiving the event-specific minion, you will also be able to select one of the following secret glamour outfits!

    After attendees have redeemed their bonus code, the minion associated with their event will be delivered upon the conclusion of that Fan Festival. However, please note that the costume reward will not be delivered via the Moogle Delivery Service until the day following the conclusion of the European Fan Festival in February 2017.

    For both attendees and non-attendees alike, those who wish to obtain a costume as well as the event-specific minions from each Fan Festival will have the opportunity to do so through our live stream service. More details on how to purchase this service will be announced at a later date.

    * The special glamour outfits are the same for all regions.
    * The in-game items will be delivered to all characters on the registered service account.

  • Announcing Fan Festival 2016 Ticket Details

    We're pleased to announce the sale date and ticket details for the Fan Festival 2016 in Las Vegas!

    We'll be providing presale codes to players who held an active FINAL FANTASY XIV account between the dates of May 1, 2016 and June 6, 2016. On the evening of Wednesday, June 15, we'll begin emailing a unique presale code to the email address registered to your Square Enix account that will grant you access to the one-week early access period for active subscribers.

    After the one week early access period is over, sales will be opened up to those who do not possess a unique presale code. However, please keep in mind that tickets may completely sell out during the early access timeframe as the entire allotment of tickets are available to purchase during this period.

Once you begin the purchase process, you will have 15 minutes to complete your order before the system will remove you from the queue.

    Required Information
    You will need to list your main character's name and World for each ticket purchased. This information is for internal usage only and will not be used when delivering in-game items. Character names and World names will not be printed on your badge.

    We will have a paid livestream option available for those who are unable to attend the event that will also include the in-game bonus items.
